Sad news. Sean was very helpful to a young journalist in Carrickfergus wondering how councils worked. His family lived beside mine in Sunnylands (before I was born). Worked tirelessly for his constituents and the town he loved.

Sad to see former Alliance leader Sean Neeson (79) has died. During an age when political debate mainly involved shouting … he was a quiet voice of calm. And he made an impact. He was also very understanding of job the Press had to do. RIP Sean. 🙏 https://t.co/LadysExL05 https://t.co/H4jha9NyeH
