I have seen the NAM run. What it is showing has been my concern, that there is more precip on the backside of the surface storm due to the upper low. The question is the amount of dry air in this area. Can the atmosphere overcome it to produce the snow.

I taped this around 12pm today, well before the 18z NAM came out. I have discussing how I think the modeling is not catching the backside of the storm properly. Time will tell whether I am correct. I explain in the video

X live posted. I discuss why I think the snow can be more extensive on the NNW side of the storm. The end game is still far away. 1-3" NYC and PHL, 3-6 DCA, still think from RIC to southern DE to Ocean City, MC can get 6+. Also southern New Jersey can get into 6+ as well.
