If Leicester decide tonight, with relegation confirmed, to sack Ruud van Nistelrooy he can have few complaints. In fact he’s lucky to have made it this far into the season. But the board chose him and they need to reflect on their own poor decision making over the past few years.

Three years have passed since our mate Nige left us. Whenever his name comes up in conversation, despite the obvious sadness at being taken way too soon, there is always a smile and a laugh, remembering the good times we all shared in his company. One of the absolute best blokes.
