The Early 2000s were years that were not kind to Cowboys fans. The team was constantly mediocre and shelling out 6-10 seasons. After Super Bowl-Winning Quarterback Troy Aikman's retirement in 2001, the Cowboys never had another franchise quarterback until 2006, when Tony Romo took over. Now that the season schedule is here, many NFL fans wait in anticipation for the season to begin. The Dallas Cowboys have the fourth toughest strength of schedule. This should be no surprise as the Cowboys will face division rival the Philadelphia Eagles twice. The Cowboys will also face the AFC East. Three of those teams have the potential to be a Super Bowl matchup. The AFC East is expected to be like the 2022 NFC East, where the majority of the teams in the division make the playoffs.

There have been multiple reports that the Minnesota Vikings are reportedly cutting four-time Pro Bowl Running Back Dalvin Cook come June 1st. The Cowboys let go of long-tenured and beloved three-time Pro Bowl RB Ezekiel Elliott this offseason. To fill the void of Elliott, the Cowboys signed Ronald Jones and drafted Deuce Vaughn by way of the University of Kansas State. Should the Dallas Cowboys sign Dalvin Cook? Cook has been a Pro Bowl selection for the past four years.
