Telling a story through comics is a special art form. Technically, I was editing Georgia, but I learned so much through the way she considers every detail of the dialogue and visuals. A beautiful story, made more beautiful by her mastery and @NatachaBustos’s stunning artwork!

Loved working on this! Click through for different versions for grades 4-8. It's a challenging poem, but in our #ScholasticAction lesson, I think we managed to make it accessible for striving middle school readers by focusing on her overall message (and fluency/expression!).
