Sam Bankman-Fried's lawyer, Mark Cohen, quoted Hemingway in his closings. He said there's a book where one character asks another, "How did you go bankrupt?" and he responds, "Gradually. Then suddenly." The trial felt a bit like that to me. I both can and can't believe it's over.

During closings, AUSA Nicolas Roos said Sam Bankman-Fried was greedy, a liar, and a celebrity chaser. One way SBF's lawyer, Mark Cohen, seemed to try to combat this was by coming off as extremely considerate himself. In his closings, he thanked the jury twice for their time.

Updating to say that we've now learned that the dinner will be pizza!

At the beginning of the day in SBF’s trial, Judge Kaplan asked the jurors if they could stay late tomorrow for deliberations. He said they could potentially be provided with dinner and cars home.
