Leading superyacht fender manufacturer Defenda has launched the world’s first sustainable fender cover. Its new bioprene, Fendaskin, is made from organic raw materials and delivers improved performance and longevity when compared to neoprene or acrylic alternatives. Simon Billington, managing director at Defenda, commented, “End-of-life fender covers account for a huge amount of waste that’s typically destined for landfill.
