I think Jonathan Kuminga has done enough to earn rotation minutes as long as Steph Curry is out, but he's also settling for too many jumpers in the second half.

I think the Warriors will look at this game (likely a double-digit loss) as an encouraging sign for their chances to win at least one game without Curry. Got back within 7 after trailing by 20+ despite subpar games from most key players. Kuminga, TJD performances big boosts.

After that latest Podziemski turnover that led to a Minnesota bucket and a Warriors timeout, Steve Kerr is going with Spencer, Moody, Butler, Payton II, and Jackson-Davis. Rough Podziemski minutes means more Spencer and even more responsibility for Butler.

It’s a 56-39 T-Wolves lead over the Warriors at the half. Warriors were down by double digits in the blink of an eye. Trayce Jackson-Davis and Jonathan Kuminga might’ve played the Warriors’ best minutes of the half. Anthony Edwards is questionable to return with an ankle injury.

Jonathan Kuminga had a couple of rough moments early, but he closed the half very nicely: a well-timed cut and dunk, a fastbreak score, and a mid-range jumper. He has 10 points on 5-of-5 shooting.
