LSU coach Brian Kelly says he'd like to play 9 SEC conference games and a non conference game vs. a Big Ten opponent.

Texas A&M AD Trev Alberts seems to suggest he'd favor a 9-game SEC football schedule if the SEC gets 4 automatic bids in the College Football Playoff.

A&Ms Mike Elko: "When trying to build a program from where we were to where we want to be, you want it to go smooth, you want it to go easy. It doesn't always work like that. It doesn't mean things aren't going in the right direction. It just means you have to make adjustments."

A&M coach Mike Elko expects RB Le'Veon Moss to be ready for August camp. "He’ll be 100 percent for sure for fall camp. When you go out there and watch him run he looks really good right now."

Intrigued by transfer TE Nate Boerkircher. Aggies need more production from that position. Boerkicher looks like he can provide it. He had 2 catches for 31 yards. Almost beat double coverage for a 22 yd touchdown catch, but the ball was jarred loose when he hit the ground.
