You own your body but you can’t use it to commit public indecency. The purpose of laws is to prohibit conduct — thus limiting what you can do with your own property when your actions carry broader societal consequences.

Burning your own American flag is nenarded, but it’s not illegal, nor should it be. No one should want a federal government so powerful that it can lock you up for a year for burning your own stuff. Thankfully our Constitution prohibits Congress from making such stupid laws.
