Western Uganda female artiste Omega256 has postponed her concert that was slated to take place at Lugogo cricket Oval on the 3rd, May, 2025. The concert, which was being organized by Norbert Events, will now be organized by her own management called Diagram Evolution, Uganda on 19th, September,2025 at the same venue. Speaking at a press conference she held at H20 Lounge on Monday 14th, April,2025, Omega said that she fell out with the promoter over breach of contractual obligations.

More than 1,771 Congolese refugees fleeing conflict in the eastern Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) have arrived at the Kyangwali Refugee Settlement in Kikuube District after undergoing security and health screenings. This group, primarily women, children, and the elderly crossed into Uganda via Lake Albert last week, joining over 8,000 refugees who have fled into Kikuube. They were initially received at the Sebigoro transit center in Kabwoya Sub-County before being transferred to Kyangwali.
