And it’s made me sad. This morning I woke up to my second Daily Mail headline this month… grabbing a juicy little line, out of context, from these long Substack letters that I take hours to write to you all… and soiling it, by turning it into salacious, greasy, tabloid gossip. Before I start, I just wanted to briefly say, holy shit, thank you so much for your unbelievably warm and kind reaction to my last post about my health. I had no idea how many of you felt exactly the same way. I kept tearily refreshing my page again and again, and each swipe would reveal another little light in the dark loneliness of chronic illness. You made my week in ways I could never have expected.
