ABS-CBN Sports+Action

ABS-CBN Sports and Action, often referred to as Sports + Action, is a commercial television network located in Quezon City, Philippines. It is owned by ABS-CBN Corporation, which also produces and licenses some of its programming through ABS-CBN Sports. In Metro Manila, Sports + Action is available over the air via DWAC-TV on UHF channel 23, a frequency that was previously used by the now-defunct Studio 23 until it ceased operations on January 16, 2014. The channel officially launched on January 18, 2014, and became the primary sports channel for ABS-CBN after the closure of its cable channel Balls in late 2015. Since 2016, the high-definition version of Sports + Action has been accessible exclusively to subscribers of SKYcable and Destiny Cable. Additionally, the international feed of Sports + Action is available globally through The Filipino Channel, which can be accessed via cable, satellite, IPTV, online streaming, and video on demand. The channel's programming mainly focuses on sports coverage, including events like the UAAP, NCAA, and Top Rank boxing, as well as FIFA and Azkals football matches. Sports + Action also features action movies aimed at male viewers along with various sports-related shows.
