    The ACC Liverpool Group has invested £2 million in the premium offering at its M&S Bank Arena (cap. 11,000), and appointed MMA Design & Project Management and Kimpton to complete the works. It said the aim of the investment is to introduce a more immersive experience for guests. The revamped premium offering will include Premium Super Suites that can accommodate 24, and smaller Premium Suites alongside an upgraded Sodexo Live! Lounge (130).

    The Events Industry Forum (EIF) has announced that in the first ten years of its Purple Guide Grants Scheme it has supported 24 outdoor event projects with £318,000 of funding. EIF operates as a not-for-profit organisation, allocating money raised from Purple Guide subscriptions to the grants programme to fund projects. “We’re very proud that the Purple Guide Grants have enabled a hugely diverse range of projects to help develop the industry over the past decade,” said EIF chair Steve Heap.

    Event management software provider Crescat has launched Crescat GO; a grassroots grant scheme in partnership with industry organisations Music Venue Trust (MVT) and Association of Independent Festivals (AIF). Crescat said the new scheme is designed to provide grassroots event organisers, venues and festivals, and new live event start-ups, that are facing demonstrable financial barriers, discounted access to its event management software.
