Spider lift specialist Teupen is entering the truck mounted platform segment with a new 71.6m working height model, which was launched at Bauma last week. The TE720 will lay the foundation for a wider TE Series, said the manufacturer, which will produce the model at Teupen’s Krefeld, Germany facility. With a working height of 71.60m and an outreach of up to 42m at a basket load of 100kg, the TE720 is designed for demanding applications.

JaloBMS will be the first rental company to take delivery of Bronto Skylift’s new 70m working height new generation S70XT1-J presented at Bauma last week. The Finland-based truck mount specialist, owned by parent company Jalo & Jalo, has ordered two units, both of which are scheduled for delivery in 2026. The new XT range is a combination of all the the best parts of Bronto’s XDT and XR ranges, with a range of upgrades said Arne Denks, the company’s Product Manager.

The MJE710 has numerous new features and can be mounted on a 32 tonne GVW truck, meaning that it can be driven on the road with standard permits. The unit was on a Volvo FMX 8x4 Tridem truck. Its working height is paired with outstanding outreach capabilities of 28.50 m with 600kg in the basket, 33.70m with 280kg load, and 37m with 100kg.

Palfinger is introducing a new range of 3.5 tonne GVW hybrid truck mounts that replaces the previous series in this weight category. The four-model telescopic TEC range, which can be mounted on trucks up to 10.5 tonnes, is represented on the company’s Bauma stand by the PT 28 T and PT 22 TJ, making their debut at the show. The range topping PT 28 T offers fully electric operation of the platform while reaching a working height of 28m.

United Rentals, the world’s largest equipment rental company, has become the first buyer of Tadano’s new AS-63HD boom lift geared toward the North American market. Tadano announced its entry into the North American MEWP market leading up to Bauma. The AS-63HD, which made its global debut at Bauma this week, features a platform height of 62 ft 8 in (19.1 m) and a maximum horizontal outreach of 37 ft 4 in (11.4 m).
