Acta Zoologica Mexicana (nueva serie)
Acta Zoológica Mexicana (new series) is a scientific journal dedicated to sharing original research findings about land-dwelling animals. While it is published in Mexico, it accepts articles on terrestrial fauna from around the globe. This open-access journal covers various topics, including Behavior, Ecology, Evolution, Physiology, Genetics, Morphology, Systematics, Taxonomy, and Zoogeography of terrestrial species. It features original research articles, essays, and scientific notes (the latter being limited), all of which undergo peer review using a single-blind system. Until 2017, it was released quarterly, producing three issues each year, but starting in 2018, it transitioned to a continuously published electronic format. From 2021 onward, the journal has adopted a "Double blind" review process for manuscript evaluation.
