Addiction

Addiction is a journal that publishes research studies on both pharmacological and behavioral addictions, integrating findings from various academic fields. The journal aims to facilitate global and interdisciplinary communication in science and clinical practice, strengthen connections between research and policy, and encourage high-quality discussions. We welcome submissions that are not only technically sound but also innovative and provide new insights that will interest our international audience. We strive to support researchers from both low- and middle-income (LAMI) countries as well as those from more developed nations. Addiction covers a wide range of topics, including human experimental studies, epidemiology, social sciences, historical perspectives, clinical research, and policy discussions related to addiction. While the focus is primarily on psychoactive substance use and gambling, the journal also includes editorials, commentaries, reviews, letters, and book critiques.
