RECEPTION PAVILION FOR THE CANTONAL MUSEUMS . SIONThe new museum center for nature and archaeology builds on the site’s landscape and architectural heritage as a former prison. The existing walls around the courtyard have been preserved to reveal their historic construction materials. By raising these vertical walls atop new walls, the architectural design draws on the site’s past to shape its new identity as the museum’s reception courtyard.

Garden Pavilion . PragueClients for whom the garden pavilion is designed own a large mature garden in the middle of the city, which is also just a ten-minute walk from their apartment. When the clients are in their garden, they try to spend as much time outdoors as possible and came to us with a specific and perhaps slightly paradoxical task. They wanted a new structure on the site of the original dilapidated cottage, but at the same time, they didn’t want to close off the garden.
