Aksiyon
Aksiyon, which translates to "Action" in English, is a news magazine from Turkey that was founded by Feza Publications in 1994. By 2008, it was noted by its sister publication, Today's Zaman, as "the most widely read Turkish weekly magazine," boasting a circulation of nearly 40,000, which represented over half of the market for weekly news magazines. This figure marked a significant rise from approximately 15,000 in 2001. Aksiyon has been instrumental in reporting significant stories, including a covert military agreement between Turkey and Israel in May 1996, as well as statements from Major Şefik Soyuyüce regarding the involvement of students in orchestrating a crisis ahead of the 1960 Turkish coup d'état.
