Alpine Mag was established in 2017 in the beautiful French Alps. It was created by Ulysse Lefebvre, who now shares management responsibilities with Jocelyn Chavy. The magazine operates out of a base located between Grenoble and Chamonix.

The Eternal Flame duo continue their exploration of the finest wingsuit lines in the Alps. On April 11, Éric Jamet and Antoine Pecher marked a new page in the history of mountain flying by making the first wingsuit jump from the Aiguille Verte (4,122 m) in the Mont-Blanc massif. The result: a 2.30-minute flight with a view, and a 2,900-meter ascent to Chamonix. Antoine Pecher tells us all about it.

It was midday on Monday, April 7, when an avalanche swept down the Annapurna face, killing two Nepalese Sherpas. Rima Rinje and Ngima Tashi were above Camp 2, at around 5600 meters. They were in charge of supplying the camps with oxygen cylinders, when a huge avalanche hit. Miraculously, a third Sherpa, Pemba Thenduk, also caught in the avalanche, managed to escape. All three men worked for the Seven Summit Treks agency.

French climber Vadim Druelle fell into a crevasse on his way down from Annapurna Camp 3, March 30th. The Himalayan speed climber was rescued by Sirbaz Khan, a Pakistani member of his team, when he was trapped at a depth of twenty meters. Injured and suffering from frostbite, Vadim Druelle was evacuated from the base camp and hospitalized in Kathmandu.
