Amazon Watch

Amazon Watch is a nonprofit organization that was established in 1996 and is located in Oakland, California. Its mission is to safeguard the rainforest and promote the rights of indigenous communities in the Amazon Basin. The organization collaborates with local indigenous and environmental groups in countries such as Ecuador, Peru, Colombia, and Brazil to advocate for human rights, hold corporations accountable, and protect the ecological integrity of the Amazon.
