NASCAR may be returning to Rockingham Speedway, but there will be no repeat winners this year. At least not in trucks. They stole the show. Subaru and the Hyundai Motor Group brands of Hyundai, Kia and Genesis were the only automakers to debut new models during media day at the 2025 New York International Auto Show, which is celebrating its 125th anniversary this year. The major U.S. autos shows have become less important as venues for new vehicle reveals of late, as car companies have shifted toward digital media and standalone events.
