The Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway sequel, The Witch of Kirke, has revealed a teaser trailer and confirmed a winter 2026 release date. The movie was previously announced under the tentative title Son of Bright and is the second in a trilogy. The Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway was released on June 11, 2021, after three delays related to the COVID-19 pandemic. The movie, animated by the studio Sunrise, is a sequel to the Mobile Suit Gundam Narrative from 2018.

From Old Country Bumpkin to Master Swordsman anime is returning in 2026 with a Season 2. The sequel was announced after the finale of the first season on June 21. Studio Passione and Hayabusa Film animated the first season of the series with Akio Kazumi as the director. Kunihiko Okada was in charge of the series composition, and Satsuki Hayakasa did the character designs. Yasuharu Takanashi composed the music.

The Fate/strange Fake anime has announced the advance screening of its second episode for August 3 in Japan. The premiere will take place at the Makuhari Messe International Exhibition in Chiba City, as part of the yearly in-person Fate/Grand Order festival. A streaming release date has not yet been announced. The advance screening will be accompanied by a cast interview with Kana Hanazawa and Sumire Morohoshi, who voice Ayaka Sajyou and Tiné Chelc, respectively.
