Antioch Herald

Antioch Herald

Running a newspaper today is quite a challenge, especially in the current economic climate. However, we believe that the vibrant city of Antioch, home to over 114,291 residents, deserves its own dedicated newspaper that focuses on local governance, community events, and activities in Antioch, California. Our journey began online in November 2010 after a five-year break from publishing newspapers. The same team that launched the first city-wide, direct-mailed newspaper, the Antioch Press (which ran from 2001 to 2005), is back with familiar faces and new talent. We started distributing our print edition in May 2011, including it in the Monthly Grapevine, reaching every mailbox in the 94531 ZIP Code, around 9,000 homes in the 94509 ZIP Code, and all businesses in Antioch. The Herald stands as the only local news platform and newspaper for Antioch, especially when we offer a print edition.
