The Cognitive-Communication AQ demonstrates the ability to capture function and measure change for inpatients with a variety of medical conditions and offers the capacity to modify rehabilitation plans of care according to progress. In this report, we developed a composite rehabilitation outcome measure called the Cognitive-Communication Ability Quotient (AQ) comprised of 10 standardized measured administered by speech-language pathologists.
