Äripäev, translating to "Business Day" in Estonian, is a financial newspaper from Estonia that is printed in a tabloid style. It was established in 1989 by Dagens Industri, a prominent Swedish financial publication. The inaugural issue hit the stands on October 9, 1989. Initially, from its launch until May 1992, Äripäev was released weekly. It increased its frequency to three times a week in February 1996, and since then, it has been published five times a week. The newspaper is part of AS Äripäev, which is owned by the Bonnier media group, a family-run enterprise from Sweden.
