Armenpress

The "Armenpress" news agency was founded on December 18, 1918, following a decision by the National Council of the first Armenian Republic to create the Armenian Telegraph Agency, a unique state-run news organization. Today, "Armenpress" functions as a Closed Joint-Stock Company, with its shares held by the Republic of Armenia. It is the longest-running news agency in the country. Currently, Armenpress offers eleven different news categories, including official news, politics, economy, society, regional updates, international news, the Armenian world, culture, sports, lifestyle, innovation, interviews, and photo news.
