Athletics Ireland

Athletics Ireland serves as the official governing body for athletics in Ireland. Our main goal is to foster and advance the sport at all levels, from casual running and school competitions to assisting Ireland's top athletes in global events. Our organization is run by a Board made up of elected volunteers who collaborate closely with our dedicated full-time staff located in Dublin and across various regions. We take pride in our strong volunteer spirit, with thousands of administrators, officials, and coaches generously offering their time, which is essential to our mission. Currently, we have 359 clubs affiliated with us, boasting a total membership of over 62,700 individuals.
