Babylist

Babylist

We founded Babylist with a simple mission: to create a baby registry experience that prioritizes the needs of parents. Back in 2011, while expecting my first son, I wanted to set up a registry. Having previously worked as a software engineer at Amazon, I anticipated a straightforward process. Instead, I faced a frustrating situation. I had to choose between a single store or juggle multiple registries. I spent countless hours researching products, often second-guessing my choices. Plus, I couldn’t include helpful services like meal delivery, pet care, or diaper delivery. I realized there had to be a better solution, so I decided to take action. Babylist launched just two weeks before my son Max arrived. What started as a small project has now evolved into a trusted resource for new parents. Today, half of all first-time parents create a Babylist registry, and millions of families rely on us for practical advice and data-driven insights every month. As a mom of two, my commitment to our mission has only grown stronger. The entire Babylist team shares this dedication, and we’re constantly on the lookout for new products and innovative ideas to support you on your parenting journey.

If you’re a new parent navigating all of the baby products—specifically baby carriers—you’ve likely come across ring slings in your research or while building your registry. They can be a bit intimidating when you first start using them, though, and there are some important safety considerations to keep in mind.
