Backseat Mafia
Backseat Mafia is dedicated to uncovering exceptional music and films, both new and classic, to share with our audience. What started as a pastime during recovery from injuries has transformed into a respected platform in the UK, recently celebrating over one million views. Backseat Mafia is committed to discovering both hidden treasures and future favorites for our listeners and viewers. We organize events across the north of England and beyond under the name Backseat Mafia Presents, and we also host a stage at the annual Coastival Festival. Additionally, we run a record label that releases limited edition physical formats.

Mortez, the explosive duo made up of Brett Daniels and Rachele Royale, have returned with the new single ‘COVEN’. Theatrical through layers of vocal harmonies, piano and cinematic strings, the track grows from opening to introducing the metal undertones in the pair’s sound with tight punching drums, and soaring heavily distorted guitar lines. ‘COVEN’ is a bold and dramatic addition to Mortez’s catalogue – a collision of dark romanticism and unflinching empowerment.
