Baltimore Witness
Baltimore Witness is a platform that combines journalism with a commitment to transparency through data. Our mission is to provide a clear view of the Baltimore Criminal Justice system, aiming to enhance transparency like never before. We believe that to truly understand the issues and identify the necessary improvements in the criminal justice system, one must see it as a complete entity rather than just isolated parts (like police, prosecutors, and courts). It's challenging to implement change when there's a lack of visibility. We also think that increased transparency will foster the accountability that has been missing up to this point.
