Ray Foley, a veteran Marine, boasts over 36 years in the bartending and restaurant industry. He is the visionary behind BARTENDER® Magazine, a publication celebrated for its dedication to the bartending profession. Known as "The Legend," Ray has made significant contributions to the field, earning him this esteemed nickname. BARTENDER® Magazine stands out as the only magazine in the world specifically focused on bartenders, and it is among the few that cater primarily to alcohol servers. Now in its 32nd year, the magazine has a growing circulation of 260,000 copies. After completing his service in the United States Marine Corps and studying at Seton Hall University, Ray began his career as a bartender, eventually rising to the role of Assistant General Manager at The Manor in West Orange, N.J., where he managed a team of over 350 employees.
