Hello! I’m Joan Vallduriola, a third-year Biomedical science student at QMUL and I am currently undergoing my project on public engagement. Newly-widowed, feeling ‘very unfit’ due to her age and her MS, she had recently moved from Spain to a static caravan near Weston-super-Mare to be nearer to her daughters. Looking to make friends, she joined her local gym. At first, she tried a few classes and exercise machines, but nothing clicked.

We have two undergraduate students reviewing our PML (Progressive Multifocal Leukoencephalopathy) risk information tool on Clinic Speak. We created the PML information based on patient input years ago, but feel it’s time to update it and take a closer look at how it’s being used. That’s why we are conducting this survey to gather your thoughts and opinions. Your participation in the survey will help us evaluate the current risk communication and identify areas for improvement.
