Bayou Magazine

Established in 2002, Bayou Magazine is a literary magazine that comes out twice a year, produced by The University of New Orleans. We feature a range of creative works including poetry, fiction, and nonfiction, as well as the winner of our annual Tennessee Williams One-Act Play Contest. Our goal at Bayou is to showcase outstanding and engaging pieces from both well-known and new writers.
