Throughout the years it’s also been called “knitbone,” and “boneset” for it’s reputed medicinal properties. Farmers and housewives have been using comfrey for years to aid in curing burns, cuts, bruises, and even bone fractures.

The glass delusion is a rare condition. The afflicted believeWith their whole heartThat they are made of glassSo fragileThat with the slightest touchEverything will shatterLove is a rare conditionThe affected knowWith their whole heartThat without proper careThe fragileWill succumb to forceShattered like glassThe gift of the third year is glass. Each year I write a poem to commemorate our wedding anniversary using the traditional anniversary gift as the inspiration.
