Black Trekking

I’m originally from Ohio and work as a journalist. When I’m not busy with my job, you can find me planning my next adventure. My passion for traveling started at the age of 10 during my first flight to California. Since then, I’ve learned Spanish and had the opportunity to live in three countries: the Dominican Republic, Colombia, and of course, the United States. So far, I’ve traveled to twelve countries, including San Andres, Puerto Rico, and French Polynesia, and I look forward to adding even more destinations to my travel list! I often share these experiences with my husband or my mother, but I also enjoy going on trips with friends or exploring new places on my own. I have a deep love for beaches, vibrant cities, dance, and the rich heritage of black culture and history. I hope this blog encourages you to discover new destinations and embrace new experiences!
