Motherhood is a beautiful journey, but it can be so hard and lonely without close mom friends who really get you. Mom friends offer support and provide a sense of community that can make motherhood feel a lot less lonely. I thought I knew who my friends were when I became a mom in my mid thirties. And I did know who some of them were, but things changed after I became a mom. I went into motherhood so blindly, but that’s all of us, isn’t it?

Greetings from Mexico! I’m taking a little break from the sun while Jack naps, and it’s nice to have a quiet moment to myself. As the year come to an end and we get ready for 2025, I’ve found myself reflecting on the moments that shaped the last twelve months, as I do every year. The new year always feels like a fresh start – a chance to think about how far we’ve come and a chance to reflect on the last year.
