Brownstone Institute

The Brownstone Institute is a nonprofit organization established as a 501(c)(3) in May 2021. It envisions a society where voluntary interactions among individuals and groups are prioritized, while reducing the reliance on violence and coercion, including that imposed by both public and private entities. This vision reflects the principles of the Enlightenment, which emphasized knowledge, scientific advancement, progress, and universal rights as central to public life. Unfortunately, this ideal is often at risk from ideologies and systems that seek to revert society to a time before the ideals of freedom prevailed.
