Bulgarian News Agency
The Bulgarian News Agency (BTA) serves as the national news agency for Bulgaria. It was founded in 1898 through a decree from Prince Ferdinand I. Today, BTA is a key and trustworthy source of news for both print and digital media, as well as government agencies and non-governmental organizations in Bulgaria. Its operations are governed by a statute that was approved by the 36th National Assembly on June 29, 1994.
