Burdock Media

An arts and culture platform that highlights the diverse experiences of Asian Americans. Burdock officially came to life in the spring of 2018, but in many ways, its roots have been developing for a long time. As children, our views on what was possible for our lives were heavily shaped by how we were represented in society. We internalized these societal norms, which limited our understanding of our potential and how we could navigate the world. The perspectives available to us were quite restricted, but without a broader view of possibilities, we adapted and continued on with our lives.
