Buyouts
Buyouts magazine was established in 1988 with the goal of delivering detailed insights into private capital. It quickly became a key resource for extensive fund news, profiles of industry leaders, analysis of market trends, and exclusive private equity data. As its audience grew and it gained recognition in the private capital sector, Thomson Reuters acquired Buyouts, integrating it into the Thomson Financial portfolio. As the magazine evolved, it broadened its scope to include the Canadian private equity scene, launched a real-time digital news platform, and amassed a content library of over 50,000 articles. In 2014, Buyouts became part of the PE Hub Network, joining forces with sister publications VCJ and PE Hub to offer readers a more comprehensive view of alternative investments.
