    With five different bachelor’s degrees, the BYU-Idaho Department of Mathematics works to help students find the math careers they want to work in. Bachelor’s degrees include Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Mathematics Education Composite and Mathematics Education. There is also a Data Science associate degree. Department Chair Elaine Wagner says the professors in the department work to help students identify what type of math they enjoy the most.

    From oil paintings and pottery to needle felting and animation, to photography and sculpture, the Art Faculty Show in the Spori Art Gallery has a variety of mediums on display. “It’s an eclectic collection every time we do the faculty show,” said Kyoung DaBell, the art curator for the Spori Art Gallery. The exhibit features the art of 18 faculty members spread throughout the gallery, which includes the second-floor mezzanine. As viewers walk into the gallery, they’ll see three charcoal drawings.

Bachelor’s degrees include Advanced Vehicle Systems, Automotive Engineering Technology, Automotive Technology Management, Manufacturing Engineering Technology, Welding and Fabrication Technology and Welding Engineering Technology.

    Two recent graduates from BYU-Idaho’s Communication Department talked about their experiences learning and working at BYU-Idaho for the Fulfilling the Mission podcast. Isabelle Justice and Celeste Christopherson both graduated in 2023. Justice graduated with an emphasis in journalism and a module in visual communication. She was the editor-in-chief for the Scroll newspaper and president of the Journalism Society. She began working as a digital marketing specialist at Porter Pro Media.
