Two recent graduates from BYU-Idaho’s Communication Department talked about their experiences learning and working at BYU-Idaho for the Fulfilling the Mission podcast. Isabelle Justice and Celeste Christopherson both graduated in 2023. Justice graduated with an emphasis in journalism and a module in visual communication. She was the editor-in-chief for the Scroll newspaper and president of the Journalism Society. She began working as a digital marketing specialist at Porter Pro Media.

The real-world experience of running a business for a semester is one opportunity the students in the Marketing Department can receive. Before the COVID-19 pandemic, if somebody found out you worked in supply chain, they wouldn’t have a clue what you were talking about. But now, supply chain management is an important part of any business that ships products. It’s also one of the minors available in BYU-Idaho’s Finance Department. The majors in the Finance Department include Business Analytics, Business Management Operations and Business Finance.
