A self-proclaimed “multidisciplinary collective,” Dutch group 45ACIDBABIES are back with their 12-track sophomore LP “Paint The World Pink.” As bubbly as it is crunchy, the quartet leans into individuality and nonconformism, which rings true not just lyrically, but production-wise as well. Led by the focal single “Running In2 U” the album lurches from a sharp palette of sounds that includes hallmarks of indie rock, pop, funk, disco, and more.

After kicking things off in the back half of 2024, pop singer-songwriter Camryn Quinlan is gearing up for 2025 with release of her latest, “ex-box.” Centered around her powerful vocal, it’s a fruit of her tandem with Icelandic producer Baldvin Hlynsson, who’s also produced the rest of her discography to date. “ex-box” is about “the box of cards, gifts, jewelry, movie tickets, and other sentiments that came from” an ex-lover, says the teenager, who hails from NYC.

If you’ve ever made such a voyage, you know what to expect – sweeping river views, exuberant nightlife, thermal springs, paprika. But for Norwegian singer-songwriter Dagny, when she boarded a flight from Oslo in the wee hours of the morning on August 8, it was all still a mystery. Little did she know that less than 12 hours later she would draw thousands of enthusiastic fans on the biggest stage in Central Europe at that moment – the Main Stage at Sziget Festival.

Interleaving elements of soul, pop, electronic, jazz, and indie, TAMMIE’s METAMORPHOSIS is just what its title suggests – a brief sonic journey that is both transformative and steadfast. The British singer-songwriter is really filling a clean slate, with only a few of the EP’s singles to her name ahead of the full body’s release. Modulated guitars, haunting pianos and pocketed drums are aplenty on what TAMMIE describes as a chronicle of spirituality.
