CA Farm Bureau

Since its inception, the California Farm Bureau Federation has dedicated itself to supporting and advocating for family-owned farms and ranches, while also addressing challenges faced by agriculture and rural areas. Established on October 23, 1919, the CFBF was formed when representatives from 32 county Farm Bureaus convened in Berkeley to establish a statewide organization. Initially, it was based at the University of California, which, along with its Cooperative Extension Service, played a crucial role in the creation of the Farm Bureau.
