Canada Gazette
The Canada Gazette (French: Gazette du Canada) serves as the official publication of the Government of Canada. Its inaugural issue was released on October 2, 1841. Initially, it focused on publishing the acts of the Parliament of Canada, but over time it expanded to include treaties, hearings, tribunals, proclamations, regulations, and other essential official announcements. At one point, it also featured details on bankruptcies. Since its inception, the Gazette has been managed by Public Works and Government Services Canada along with the Queen's Printer. People commonly refer to the Gazette to stay updated on new acts, regulations, and proclamations.
