New York voters overwhelmingly believe the recent influx of migrants in the state is a serious problem, according to a Siena College poll released Tuesday morning. The poll found 82% of voters found the migrant situation that has plagued the state since May to be a serious problem, with a slim majority — 54% — calling it "very serious."Also a majority — 58% — say that New Yorkers have already done enough and should now work to slow the flow of migrants, the poll found.

New York Attorney General Letitia James is looking into accusations that medical services provider DocGo mishandled migrants in their care, a spokesperson for her office said Monday. The provider is being accused of giving inaccurate information to migrants about employment opportunities, as well as allegedly making threats and hurting their ability to obtain asylum. This includes allegedly enrolling migrants in a health care plan that they were not eligible for.
