Catamaran Literary Reader is a quarterly journal that showcases both literary and visual arts. This full-size, full-color magazine features a variety of works, including fiction, poetry, creative nonfiction, and fine art. Based in the Tannery Arts and Digital Media Center in Santa Cruz, California, Catamaran operates as a nonprofit organization dedicated to capturing the lively and creative spirit of the West Coast through art and writing from around the globe. The journal explores themes such as nature and the environment, personal freedom, and the essence of artistic expression. Our goal is to highlight a range of voices in a polished and engaging format by publishing exceptional literary pieces and fine art. Catamaran Literary Reader (ISSN 2168-7226) is available in print on a quarterly basis and is distributed across the United States and Canada. As a California Nonprofit Corporation with 501C-3 tax-exempt status, all donations made to Catamaran are fully tax deductible.
