Central Valley TV
Our foundation in local journalism is strong and closely tied to the community. CVTV was established in 2000 by George and Ellen Stallings, who both had backgrounds in broadcast television and recognized a gap in coverage for a neglected area. Initially called “Cable One Reports,” the company started as a fully local cable news program. It later transformed into “The Central Valley Report,” and at its peak, it broadcasted a 30-minute news segment four times a day to viewers in Stanislaus, Northern Merced, and Southern San Joaquin Counties.
