Jeff Bezos’ “Blue Origin” has now sent a handful of celebrities and other “important” people into space. Yesterday saw Katy Perry hitch a ride to the outer reaches of the atmosphere with an all female crew including CBS host (and Oprah friend) Gayle King and Bezos’ fiancee Lauren Sanchez. But…big whoop!As they returned to Earth, they kissed the ground. They were gone a whopping ELEVEN MINUTES!!! I’ve been gone to the bathroom for WAAAY longer. My wife also didn’t know if I’d return.

However, it’s become a VERY toxic place. I’m all for freedom of speech and thought. No matter how offensive. However, I’m also all for common sense. X has none of that. Can you post a video of a beheading? Sure. Should you?

The best part is, he doesn’t even have to move. It was a battle back and forth that could have been conducted via subway as the Yankees and Mets battled for the free agent outfielder. HUGE money was thrown around this weekend with the belief being the Yankees would manage to keep him. That’s not what happened. The Yankees usually keep their man and they came out of the gate strong offering a 16 year deal worth $760 million. According to “insiders” the deal was pretty much a lock as of 3pm yesterday.

Leading into yesterdays Grey Cup I would have said the Winnipeg Blue Bombers had it hook, line, and sinker. They were facing a team without their starting quarterback.
