CFYK-TV (Yellowknife, NT)

CFYK-DT is the call sign for the CBC television station located in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories, Canada. It serves as the main station for CBC North’s television service. Launched in 1967, it was the first television station in northern Canada and the first to join the CBC's Frontier Coverage Package. In 1973, the station began offering satellite delivery of color television.
